• You need a PayPal Business or Premier account, or an AlertPay Business account to use the SoftSeller service, and you must register here with the e-mail address that you will use to accept payments in either PayPal or Alert. (Both of these services allow multiple e-mail addresses to be associated with a single account, so register here with the one that will actually be used in the ordering buttons. If you use different ordering e-mail addresses for different products, you must register each e-mail address separately in SoftSeller and define only those products associated with each address. SoftSeller will receive only the e-mail address used in an ordering button and cannot associate it to any other addresses you may be using for your account.)
• We do not host downloadable products except by separate arrangement. (Contact us for details.) Your downloadable products must be stored online on your own Website or elsewhere and accessible by a standard URL, which will be kept private. If you do not yet have a Website, SoftSeller recommends Lunarpages as a reliable and inexpensive host.
• Your first 5 order processes are free, with no time limit. After this trial period, an initial $12.50 registration fee is required, which pays for your next 50 order processes. After those 50 orders are sold, you can buy additional order processes at the fixed rate of $6.25 for each block of 25 orders. SoftSeller will notify you by e-mail when your order credits are getting low, and you will be given ample time to buy more without losing any sales.
